Job Summary
Primary responsibility is to support the instructional mission of the University. At least 60% of the student’s responsibility as a teaching assistant must be devoted to the direct instruction of students, typically in a classroom or laboratory setting.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities may also include: advising or mentoring of students; proctoring exams; grading papers, homework, and/or projects; preparing instructional materials; or providing other general assistance in the instructional process.
Minimum Qualifications
1. GTAs must satisfy Graduate School guidelines for Graduate Assistantships.

Of particular note:
a. GTAs must be admitted to an ECE graduate program, enrolled, and making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
b. GTAs must satisfy requirements (set by the Graduate School) regarding English competency.

The ECE department prefers that GTAs be pursuing the ECE doctoral degree.
Pay Rate Starting at $1,2224/month
Work Hours 13.33-20/week
