ROLE SUMMARY

The Rare Disease Global Marketing team are currently seeking a Sr Manager, Rare Disease Future Growth to support us in delivering best-in-class solutions to address challenges existing along our Rare Disease patient journeys.

The Pfizer Rare Disease portfolio consists of a range of treatments for patients with a variety of rare diseases, including transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), sickle cell disease & rare endocrine disorders. A variety of challenges & obstacles exist along each of these patient journeys.

The Senior Manager, Rare Disease Future Growth will be leading a cross-functional team to develop & implement novel solutions to unlock these blockages, with the potential to bring significant benefit to underserved patient groups.

This role is unique and requires an experienced colleague with a history of understanding patient journeys and leading complex projects to successful completion. The ideal candidate will also have experience in working on innovative or technology-based projects, be strong in leading without authority and be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.

This position will report to the Global Rare Disease AI & Future Growth Lead.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Sr Manager, Rare Disease Future Growth

  • Lead and project manage all aspects of the development and implementation of a variety of novel solutions aimed at addressing key challenges in chosen patient journeys. This will require managing complex global projects with a diverse cross-functional team, across several disease areas
  • Work closely with key markets to assist them in the implementation of their own novel solutions to address issues along the patient journey and drive best practice sharing between markets
  • Lead the cross-functional, global team in the decommissioning of a rare cardiology educational Software Medical Device (SMD) called EstimATTR and its re-design and launch as an educational tool
  • Lead a cross-functional team in the development and implementation of a variety of projects aimed at successfully managing the peri-LOE period for the rare-cardiology drug Vyndaqel
  • Lead the RC process for core materials that will be developed in support of the novel solutions developed by the team
  • Work with the Director Future Growth to design go-to-market models for the chosen novel solutions
  • Partner with Vyndaqel Global Marketing Team and Core Country teams to ensure awareness and adoption of the novel solutions developed and ensure local market insights and needs are addressed
  • Collaborate closely with Global Marketing Office & relevant Digital teams to share learnings and seek opportunities for collaboration
  • Ensure GLOCAL framework and forums are consistently applied for chosen activities
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional team members including Medical, Legal, Customer Insights and Analytics, PHI, Health and Economic Outcomes Research, Corporate Affairs, Communications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Advance degree preferred
  • 7 years’ healthcare industry experience
  • Proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • In-country or above country marketing experience, with evidence of having used patient insight to drive strategies & tactics
  • Prior experience in delivering innovative projects that break the mold a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to think “outside of the box” and to challenge conventional ways of doing things
  • Ability to influence without authority and gain buy-in to new ideas / projects
  • Experience interfacing/collaborating with Regulatory, Medical, Legal and other functions
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
