Job Description

This position supports Logistics Advanced Planning (LAP) work stream and represents Intercompany Operations for the SupplyIQ initiative (inclusive of all supply chains – ex. Comirnaty, Paxlovid, Gene Therapy, Conventional)

Working cross-functionally across PGS and GSC, the incumbent is responsible to connect the Technical & Strategic aspects of Logistics Planning and Execution environment which can improve interactive, predictive and simulative capabilities. The position is expected to have strong technical capabilities supporting development of the technology associated to digital product development.

The colleague is expected to pivotal role to drive module development and integration of processes / systems / roles between supply planning and Intercompany Operations logistics execution platforms.  Specific modules include:

  • Transportation Planning
  • Warehouse Capacity Planning
  • Budgeting
  • Resource Planning
  • Write-Off Management
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Leading Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

The position leads development of new modules in PGS platforms within Intercompany Operations.in close collaboration with cross functional teams with focus on Digital development, SAP, BW and other Data related teams

The incumbent defines Logistics Exceptions planning capabilities (ex. Critical Shipment Planning, Mode of Transport (MOT) Management, Master Data Exceptions Management, Inventory Ageing Exceptions, etc.).

This role is responsible for working closely with diverse team and play a pivotal role in the below aspects       

  • Solution Design, Development and Deployment – Leads the development of the logic associated with strong data connections across different environments and deployment of modules to enable Supply Planning and Intercompany Operations Execution Platform connectivity and process automation.
  • Logistics Advanced Planning Product Owner - Support Supply IQ Work Stream Lead
  • Communication and Stakeholder ManagementInterfaces regularly with cross functional teams with in SupplyIQ to develop strategy and demonstrate LAP progress and enablement of GSC 2025 Vision.  Connects Logistics Advanced Planning team with all E2E stakeholders (ex. Digital, Supply Chain, Intercompany Operations, Plants, AMP Hubs, Markets, Finance, etc.).  Drive process and project alignment and standardization.
  • Change Management / User Adoption – Play pivotal role in adoption journey of newly designed Logistics Planning platforms with cross functional leads within IO global network with greater level of acceptance of the new solutions inline with IMEX Adoption process across global IO Locations at different Tiers.
  • Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEX) – Instrumental in orchestrating Tier 2 process, standard work across PCTs and ensure robust application of IMEX standards, metrics and continuous improvement loops.
  • People Management and Development – Responsible for selecting, coaching, developing and managing a diverse team that is located across the globe.  Actively engage in developmental and project assignments, workload distribution, hard and soft skill development, behavior and recognition.

                        

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years within Digital & Technology environment with in E2E supply chain
  • Strong skills in managing extended and virtual teams, with range of x-functional stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL queries and data exploration. Understand relational databases and familiar with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent in designing Pseudocode using condition, loop and recursion approaches.
  • Excellent in Excel formulas and dashboard presentation.
  • Experienced in Python or similar scripting programming languages will be a plus.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking. 
  • Highly developed communications skills critical – able to manage at multiple levels in the organization, written and verbal.
  • Hands-on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Logistics operations, Manufacturing at different capacities in roles at Market & regional level in Consumer Health & Pharma environment supporting digital application development.
  • Has good knowledge of planning, data management, order management, logistics execution and visualization platforms. Ability to design and develop with deep understanding of technology – SQL, Database Management, Query languages.
  • Proven analytical skills, including technical skills with Business Intelligence platforms.

  • MBA
  • Regional and/or market-based Supply Chain experience in Demand, Supply, Inventory Planning
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large scale strategic projects at Global level
  • APICS -CPIM, CSCP certification
  • Prior experience working with supply chain technology such as Tableau, BOBJ, ERP systems, etc.
