We deliver the highest quality user experiences that Apple customers expect and love. We are looking for someone to join our passionate team working on Siri OS Release Quality. As a member of the AIML PM organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Siri, from development to public release (FCS) in all OS-es. This is a hands-on role where the needs of the customer meet engineering requirements and release processes.
Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in Program or Project Management, QA management, or similar role leading cross-functional product or software engineering teams
  • 5+ years experience bringing a product from concept to completion, ideally working on user facing features and/or complex backend and front-end systems
  • 5+ years in people management experience - Experience recruiting and building successful teams of program managers
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and quality metrics
  • Self-sufficient in analyzing and drawing conclusions about quality from raw and refined data
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
Description
Contribute to the Siri OS Quality Program team and processes, ensuring clear structure, tracking, communication and critical issues, and more.

Contribute to the successful development and execution of SLAs with the ML Systems Evaluation Engineering team with regards to how releases are qualified, reporting, and triaging/acting on functional, performance, reliability, and accuracy issues.

Partner with leaders across AIML and other cross-functional teams to create and maintain an effective strategy that meets the product and engineering goals and needs.
Education & Experience
BS/MS/PhD EE/CS/CE or equivalent
Additional Requirements
  • Prior PM or engineering experience in delivering end user facing technology products
  • M.S. or Ph.D. degree with a focus in machine learning, data mining or statistics
  • Experience rolling out large scale tools and processes and highly skilled at cross-functional management without authority
  • Past management experience at a top technology company
