Summary
We are a group of engineers and researchers responsible for the personalization and discovery intelligence in the Siri & Information Intelligence (SII) organization at Apple. We build systems to connect Apple users to information in products ranging from Search and Siri to on-device intelligence. We would like to hire machine learning experts who are passionate about developing algorithms, techniques, and systems that delight millions of users in Apple products and in the process push the frontier of machine learning.
Key Qualifications
  • Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: natural language processing, large language modeling, model compression and on-device machine learning
  • Extensive experience from experimentation and prototyping to deployment into production pipelines
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and one of the deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Jax
  • Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality; Excellent written and oral communication skills on both technical and non-technical topics
Description
You will work with a fast growing team of extraordinary engineers and scientists to address some of the most challenging problems in machine learning and information intelligence, including: NLP, personalization, recommendation, federated learning, and model compression, that help power products including: Siri, Spotlight, App Store, Apple Music, and much more at Apple.
Education & Experience
Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
  • Publications in top conferences are a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,000 and $217,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
