College/Department Information
The Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center is the single largest investment in a cybersecurity facility in the nation to date. The $100 million facility will help to fill the current and growing shortage of cybersecurity talent in the state and nation. The Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center represents a unique public/private partnership that includes Augusta University, Augusta Technical College, the University System of Georgia's research institutions, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and other state, federal, and private-sector partners working together to meet this workforce demand and to innovate, train, and strengthen defenses.

The state-of-the-art Center is located in the growing cybersecurity corridor in Augusta, Georgia, that is also home to the U.S. Army Cyber Command and Cyber School of Excellence at Fort Gordon. The Center is located on the downtown campus of Augusta University and houses the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences.

Job Summary
The GA-AIM Grant GCITC Project Lead is responsible for establishing, managing and executing the Cyber Risk Assessment and Training Program, which is part of the GA-AIM grant project funded by the federal Economic Development Administration. This position is responsible for hiring, training, and certifying student interns; directing manufacturing company assessments; developing get-well strategies; and coordinating the required training for assessed company personnel. The Project Lead will also serve as the interface between the GA-AIM Coalition partners, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and the assessed companies. Additionally, the Project Lead is responsible for meeting all grant-associated reporting requirements.

*This position is supported by a grant, the continuation of employment is contingent on the funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities
The duties include, bur are not limited to:

Program Management and Procedural Oversight - Provide oversight and management for the GCITC Cyber Risk Assessment and Training Program as part of the overall GA-AIM Grant Project (total $3.9M in grant funding). Liaise between GA-AIM project members, manufacturing companies/clients, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and plans are organized and communicated. Manage the development and maintenance of efficient operational processes and procedures for both current and future initiatives through collaboration with appropriate stakeholders. Track and prepare all grant-related reporting requirements, to include both the budget and program deliverables

Mission Preparation and Execution - Hire, train, and supervise college/university interns to conduct cyber risk assessment and training activities. Work with appropriate industry partners to develop and utilize technical capabilities to maximize the effectiveness and efficiently of the cyber risk assessment and training program. Lead the cyber risk assessment and training teams - to include liaising with client leadership, conducting cyber risk assessments, in-briefs and out-briefs, facilitating applicable training, providing recommendations to clients, etc.

Strategic Planning and Program Sustainment - Develop a strategy and business plan that will monetize/sustain the cyber risk assessment and training program indefinitely (i.e. post grant funding). Conduct cyber risk assessments and training for non-grant funded clients as appropriate.

Other Duties - Perform any tasks/duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the fields of information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field of study with 10 years' experience in IT/cybersecurity field.
OR
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the fields of information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field of study with 12 years' experience in IT/cybersecurity field.

Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional certification
Experience conducting Information Technology compliance audits and/or cyber risk assessments for either the public or private sector
Experience working with Operational Technology or Industrial Control Systems (ICS/SCADA)
Experience communicating and working with Executive level leadership, elected officials, and a broad customer base
Direct experience leading a strategic, innovative project from start to finish

Ability to function effectively in a highly ambiguous environment

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday-Friday (Some work outside normal business hours may be required)
Pay Grade: 25
Salary: Minimum $80,202/year - Midpoint $112,283/year
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
