Job Description

The Department of Biology at The Catholic University of America seeks to fill a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor position in Biology, to begin Fall of 2022.
We seek candidates who understand, are enthusiastic about, and will make a significant contribution to the mission of the University.
The candidate will direct the operation of the Clinical Laboratory Science graduate program in the Biology Department. He/she will teach graduate courses and recruit instructors to teach clinical courses as needed and place students in clinical laboratories for conducting research. The candidate will serve as a thesis advisor and as a member of the comprehensive exam and thesis committees of Master’s and PhD students and will assist in the administration and development of undergraduate and graduate programs in the Department of Biology. Requires Doctorate in Biological Sciences or related field or foreign degree equivalent is accepted.
Appointment: Full-time, clinical-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2022.
