Why Patients Need YouThis position is primarily responsible for initiating and coordinating operational support of laboratory colleagues & Vaccine Research & Development (VRD) managers, as well as being the primary point of contact for Pearl River Site Services.
What You Will Achieve
The candidate will be required to support aspects of operations in VRD Pearl River, including coordination of office space planning & office supplies, submissions of GetService requests and coordination of said requests with GWS, Compass, and Site Services leading to overall improvement of work efficiency.
Maintain and troubleshoot VRD Travel Request System. Primary point of contact for VRD Give-Away items & gifts.
The role will require working with multiple stakeholders including: Vaccines Research and Development colleagues, managers & Leadership Team, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), Pfizer Digital, Compass, Site Services, Site Affairs, and Procurement.
How You Will Achieve It
Manage office space planning. Direct communication with VRD managers and leaders to determine best case desk seating plans for their colleagues. This includes arranging moves for existing colleagues (at times, > 10 colleagues at any given time), new hire office location assignments, overall planning of office space layouts/ design and appropriate allocation to VRD teams. Submit required service tickets (GWS and/ or Digital) for colleagues.
Create or improve a viable in-house office supply system. Initiate purchase orders for office supplies & manage/ maintain general stock areas.
Maintain newly developed VRD travel request system.
Support VRD gifts/ give-aways inventory and distribution.
Process GetService requests for VRD Pearl River
Support & coordinate VRD events as required.

Qualifications
Must-Have
BS with 2 years’ experience preferred in operational role.
Personal computer skills – must be proficient in Microsoft Office package. Working knowledge of the GetService (Tririga) and Ariba Procurement Systems preferred.
Analytical skills required to develop space plans.
Ability to manage moderately complex problems.
Proficient oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, coordination ability, and change agility.
Nice-to-Have
3-5 years of experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry - familiarity with Pfizer, particularly WRDM preferred
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Standard office environment, with the individual co-located in open space or workstation with other staff and scientists.
Occasional access to laboratory which will require appropriate Environmental Health and Safety training be completed.
No significant physical requirements except significant amounts of computer/keyboard and phone use.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel may be required to engage with peers at other VRD sites
