Job Description

The High Energy Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position to work on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The successful candidate is expected to take important roles in the ATLAS operation and upgrades, as well as to make significant contributions to data analysis.

The ANL group has strong expertise in silicon detector, Trigger/DAQ (TDAQ) system, and Computing and Software. The group is heavily involved in the detector operations and has several major upgrade activities including ITk Pixel and TDAQ. Current analysis involvement of the group includes SUSY, Standard Model measurements, and searches for new phenomena.

Position Requirements

Candidate must have received their Ph.D. in experimental particle physics within three years of the start of the appointment.
