As a IT Project Manager, you will be an experienced IT professional who leads with your project management experience. You will develop customer relationships with all partners, advise senior leaders on strategies and best practices within a project context, and use best practices and functional expertise in project management to promote organizational change.

While reporting to the Assistant Director, Project Management, you will work independently and take ownership of projects while consulting with other team members for guidance.

Wellness programs
What you'll do:
Provide project management leadership to a variety of partners both in and out of Information Technology Services (ITS).
Ensure project partners, including senior executives, are updated on project status, issues, schedules, risks, budgets, and resources.
Help use invested funds and propel organizational goals.
Communicate with leadership for managed projects (including project sponsors, committees, internal audit, and IT leads) throughout the life of the project, driving the development of project work plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budget and other documentation.
Integrate projects into strategic plans.
Track team progress against schedules and work plans, changes in scope or project schedule, and forecasting the allocation of, and manage resources during projects.
Independently analyze and prioritize project risks to the senior management, project sponsors or IT leads.
Oversee the possible resolution of risk from a multiple project perspective throughout the software development life-cycle from launch to completion.
Manage potential risks to avoid unnecessary departmental expenditures or inefficient assignments of project resources.
Manage issue tracking and resolution log.
Participate in the risk mitigation, resolution or contingency decision-making process.
Help develop "lessons learned" documentation to avoid similar issues on subsequent projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Five (5) years project management experience.
MS Project, Project Insight, and/or Jira
Five (5) years Information Technology experience.
IT service methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, ITIL, Scrum, etc.
Will require, and sponsor, PMP certification within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience involving:
Project Management
Information Technology
Service Methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, ITIL, Scrum, etc…
MS Project, Project Insight, and/or Jira
Will require, and sponsor, PMP certification within the first year of employment
