Job Description


The Laboratory Helper work work in a lab that studies adipose tissue biology utilizing a combination of cell and molecular biology techniques, sequencing and animal models. Laboratory training will be provided.

Job Duties

  • Prepare standard solutions and culture media
  • Perform PCR genotyping of the mice
  • Organize and maintain stock of lab supplies
  • Assist with assigned research experiments
  • Assist the lab members with performing assigned research experiments and help the principal investigator organize the lab supplies and manage overall maintenance of the laboratory

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in science related undergraduate degree.
