Job Description

Summary

This position will be focused on a project aimed at mitigating disease transmission risk, including COVID-19, in Central America, with a specific focus in Belize and El Salvador. The project involves both quantitative and qualitative research around water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in clinical and community settings.

Job Duties

  • Designs and conducts research experiments.
  • Collects, compiles and analyzes data.
  • Conducts literature searches and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
  • Documents and interprets results of experiments and reports to principal investigators.
  • May develop and modify computer programs.
  • Selects and determines appropriate research procedures.
  • May assign activities to less experienced research staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
