FJAD | Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design
Summary of Job Duties:
The Director of Information Technology will oversee technical support delivery for three academic departments within the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design (FJSOA+D): architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design, as well as several off-site programs including, Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, the University of Arkansas Community Design Center in downtown Fayetteville, and the Fabrication Lab at the Windgate Art and Design District in Fayetteville. The Director will collaborate with University Information Technology Services (UITS) to monitor all network systems, make recommendations for upgrades to support new technology, report any existing or potential problems, and respond to customer service requests.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
