Job Description


The Radiology research lab is seeking a highly motivated academic researcher with a keen interest in nanomedicine. The ideal candidate will have attain a Doctoral Degree in Chemistry and posses a minimum of 7 years of postdoctoral experience with functional competencies in research and development methodologies, new technological development and delivery, and demonstrate the ability to publish with the aim to convey research findings in a constructive and practical manner.

Job Purpose

The position is reserved for career researchers and is intended to be utilized after completing at least three years of Postdoctoral research.

Job Duties

  • Defining problems and possible solutions as dictated by assigned research projects;
  • Establishing procedures to be applied in the projects.
  • Designing, developing, or adapting equipment used in experiments;
  • Performing synthetic chemistry and purification processes;
  • Performing nanostructure fabrication and characterization as needed for projects;
  • Performing biological and cell assay experiments;
  • Analyzing and interpreting data;
  • Compiling, writing, and submitting project results for publication.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education Required: Doctoral Degree. Experience may not be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience Required: Three years of post doctoral research experience.
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
