Position Summary

The Business System Information Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting data center and Amazon Web Services (AWS) applications with a focus on Accruent’s FAMIS (Facilities Management Application) and Mulesoft integrations. This position works closely with Information Technology Services (ITS) staff and vendors to provide technical support for the administration and development of these applications. Assignments include supporting creation and monitoring of Interfaces to Institutional systems, designing and implementing application level security, and performing release management functions. Additional skills preferred for this position are a background that includes the understanding and usage of integrations tools such as Mulesoft for the development of application solutions for a university environment. A strong background in DevOps is highly desired.

This position uses both technical project management skills and advanced applications programming methods to meet business objectives and resolve highly complex issues. Regularly works on highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Meets regularly with functional and technical leads to plan and implement application releases and manage operational work.
