Are you a U.S. Citizen and a recent graduate of a Ph.D. STEM program from a Historically Black College or University, Minority Serving Institution or Tribal College or University?

Sponsored by the Department of the Navy (DoN), led by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), and administered by The Washington Center (TWC), this is a two-year appointment beginning in summer or fall 2021. Benefits include an annual stipend ($77,000+), relocation costs (up to $5,000), health benefits and a specified research project with clear objectives and goals. To be qualified you must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizens) and have recently completed a doctoral program from a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), Minority Serving Institution (MSI) or Tribal College or University (TCU) prior to the start date.
In this role, you will work alongside world-renowned scientists and engineers to strengthen America’s naval defense via science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics (STEM) research.
