We are seeking a Research Assistant for Professor Ian R. Lane's research group. In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.
Core responsibilities include:
Identifying problems and obstacles to progress; developing strategies to solve problems
Summarizing statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writing technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models
Performing research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Researching and documenting information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records
Using a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations
Performing related duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree required
1-3 years of research, research methodology, and research lab experience required
Strong analytical, data collection and analysis experience required
Strong problem solving, reasoning and interpersonal skills required
