Job Description

General Summary/Purpose:

The Programmer Analyst will assist the Principal Investigators, Senior Research Program Manager, and Sr. Programmer Analyst by providing information technology support for the Data Analysis and Coordination Center for two multi-site HIV epidemiological studies



Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.



Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct peer reviews to evaluate current process and apply coding standards
Create and maintain technical documentation and data dictionaries
Troubleshoot website system issues and support end users
Ensure database and website securities
Perform on-going QA/QC for validating and optimizing current system
Analyze system and execute tests on the usability and performance
Work closely with project managers to identify user requirements and create specifications
Administer and maintain Electronic Data Capture (EDC) System for clinical research studies
Design, develop, and test database driven functional websites


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
One year of related work experience with computer systems and applications. Additional education may substitute for experience.
Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits or 18 graduate degree credits = 1 year of experience. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college coursework may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.


Technical qualifications or specialized certifications:

HTML, HTML5, SQL, MS SQL Server, Relational database, ASP.NET, Classic ASP, C#, VB.NET, Javascript, CSS, XML, JSON, Ajax, Web API, ACASI, web/network security, web server, Dynamic web design

Must have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Must be a team player with the ability to work independently.
