Job Description


Under the guidelines of IRB-approved protocols, will recruit, enroll, and follow adult and pediatric study volunteers.

Job Purpose

Coordinates day-to-day activities of research protocols which include screening, enrollment, and monitoring of research participants. Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.

Job Duties
  • Obtain informed consent as directed by study protocol.
  • Collect clinical research samples/specimens.
  • Collect, organize and manage clinical research data, including review for accuracy and completeness. Perform data entry and maintain integrity and confidentiality of research data.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Research Associates for monitoring of study-related activities.
  • Assist study Principal Investigators with IRB submissions and ongoing communication with the IRB (renewals, adverse event reporting, amendments, etc.).
  • Complete and maintain all federal- and sponsor-required trainings to conduct clinical research.
  • Participate in team teleconferences and other meetings, drafting minutes and agendas, as appropriate.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • Experience Required: One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Self-directed and organized
  • Experience with computer spreadsheets & database management
  • Experience with quality management aspect of clinical research
  • Phlebotomy skills (adult and pediatric preferred)
  • Administering injections
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
