This includes the establishment and execution of standard operating procedures for misconduct case management, tracking of case deadlines and deliverables, and understanding and incorporating legal advice into drafting. Additionally, this position is expected to support the Director and other ARI staff in proactive research rigor and reproducibility (R3) initiatives aimed at maintaining HMS’s high standards for excellence throughout its entire research enterprise.

The HMS Office for Academic and Research Integrity (ARI) is a highly-skilled interdisciplinary team known both nationally and internationally for its leadership in research integrity. The ARI team actively engages with the wider research integrity community, participating in and leading educational programs, original research projects, and the development of sophisticated forensic tools to support investigations of research misconduct. ARI is a critical member of a larger HMS effort to highlight and support R3 throughout the HMS community with education, faculty development, and the creation of new resources that augment researchers’ ongoing efforts. The successful candidate will be a key member of this team with opportunities to collaborate and develop amongst the entire ARI team in its academic, compliance, and integrity goals.
