The Health Technologies Group conceives off and proves out exciting new technology for Apple’s future products and features. We are seeking a Technical Study Project Specialist to support our human study data collection efforts that enable development and validation of new health sensors and algorithms. We work in a highly innovative and dynamic environment with a high sense of urgency.
Key Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience of relevant experience
  • Deep familiarity with SW and infrastructure across OS systems and Apps
  • Highly organized and hyper-attentive to detail
  • Able to multi-task among multiple high priority projects
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment that requires critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adapt, improve, and champion best practices
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the critical thinking and resourcefulness to achieve study objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and other organizational tools
Description
The Tech SPS collaborates with Field SPS in designing and implementing the operational aspects of human subject research. They must be able to understand the research goals, protocol, tools and technology needed for a successful study execution. Working with Software Engineering Project Managers to translate Study Operation requirements into Tools and IT requirements and communicate the same with CRO/Sites. They must excel at planning at a detailed level the setup, test and support of study equipment (software and hardware), while working with internal QA teams to ensure a high quality deliverable for Field SPS to execute during the study. Collaborate with cross functional teams on field technical issues to ensure smooth data collection while also ensuring improvements for future studies.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to constant change. Cross-functional communication skills and experience are crucial.

This candidate must excel at details and multitasking as well as communication on status and issues. This is a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering discipline.
