Job Description

Summary

Provide support in coordinating Cain Foundation projects by compiling reports, entering data, and documenting approvals. This position will coordinate day to day operations for NRI-Cain foundation faculty, account reconciliations, provide support for research projects and grant submissions for faculty, and complete purchasing task within SRM system along with capital purchase item request.

 

This position will maintain grant accounts and donor accounts for the NRI faculty, assist with day to day operations at the NRI for Cain Faculty,  account reconciliations, and complete purchasing task within SRM system and capital request. 
 
 

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate and schedule Cain Foundation meetings, events, seminars, and other functions for the Cain Foundation NRI-Faculty and Cain Director. 
  • Present and/or provide information regarding Cain updates in preparation of meetings, events, seminars, board meetings.
  • Reviews expenditures from fund sources to verify accuracy, need, and compliance.
  • Assist with preparation of grants and subcontracts submissions by gathering and submitting financial and research data.  
  • Monthly Financial Meetings with Cain Director and Cain Faculty discuss current status of funding, year end closeout. 
  • Prepare Budget revisions when needed based on the needs of the Cain Foundation and donors requirements.
  • Assist Research Administration Manager with the BCM fiscal year budget preparation regarding the outlook for the upcoming year financials for the Cain Foundation.
  • Maintain financial records for each grant or account, including applications, revenue checks, communication with sponsor, etc. for the Cain Foundation team.
  • Responsible for compiling and ordering but not limited to supplies and capital items for the Director, Cain-Faculty and Cain Staff.
  • Prepare financial statement and reporting for the annual Cain foundation board meeting.
  • Meet with TCH Accounting Quarterly to discuss current financial state of Cain Foundation funding in accordance to the foundation guidance.
  • Assist with day to day operations at the NRI for Cain Foundation.
  • Prepare and maintain  documents for Cain Foundation Direction and Faculty as needed.
  • Assemble and compile reports and information needed to complete and submit online annual progress reports, renewals, resubmissions, and new grants for the foundation. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written/oral communication and organizational skills are required, and the candidate must work effectively in a team environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office softwares.
  • Ability to prioritize task to meet deadlines.
