Job Description

Summary

The individual should be self-motivated and enjoy being highly organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and collaborative. The individual should enjoy contributing to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the laboratory. The lab provides an interactive and stimulating scientific environment and opportunities for growth.

Job Duties

    • Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments and collects, compiles, and analyzes data. 

    • Performs histological procedures: tissue preparation, slide preparation, IHC/IF staining.

    • Perform PCR, genotyping, Western blotting, ELISA and other routine lab assays.

    • Primary and immortalized Cell cultures assays, gene transfection and transduction.

    • Develops new techniques to support the pregnancy-related research in the lab.

    • Oversees lab maintenance and coordinate lab supplies purchase and utilization.

    • Collaborates with scientists within the lab group in multidisciplinary studies.

    • Selects, evaluates, and applies techniques used in routine research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
