Job Description

Summary

This Research Associate will working on a study which assesses the ability of moderate intensity exercise (such as walking) to promote healthy aging by preventing decline in immune function, muscle strength, bone density and cognitive abilities.

Job Duties

  • Plans, directs, and conducts ongoing human exercise trial.
  • Interacts with exercise trial participants, evaluate exercise capacity and takes blood samples.
  • Evaluates and analyzes exercise trial data.
  • Documents results of the exercise study and reports to principle investigator.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Basic Science or a related field.  Experience in lieu of degree will not be accepted.
  • Three years of relevant experience typically as a Research Assistant, Research Technician or Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate.
