Responsibilities:

• Performs skin evaluations, skin evaluation follow-up appointments.
• Performs MicroPeels, MicroPeel Plus, Microdermabrasion, Vitalize Peel, Dermaplanning, CO2 Treatments, Peel Boosters, Illuminating Peels, LHA Peels, Uplifting Eye Treatments, Hydrating Treatments, Firming Treatments, Anti-oxidant Treatments, Pore Refining Treatments and Pore Extractions for patients.
• Provides pre and post-operative care as directed by physician.
• Responsible for medical charting.
• Counsels and trains patients in use of prosthesis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Trade School Graduate of Aesthetic or Cosmetology Program.

Certifications:

• License in Aesthetics (EST) or Cosmetology (COS) required in current state of practice.

Complexity of Work:

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment.
• Must be able to work in dynamic ever changing environment and take appropriate actions.

Work Experience:

• One year related experience in a medical setting preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time; must lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• Requires some exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.

Personal Protective Equipment:

•  Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
