Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and coordination of radiography students’ clinical education under the direction of the program director. Duties include;
   • Documenting appropriate clinic competencies, clinic evaluations and clinic rotation schedules.
   • Maintaining appropriate records of student clinic education activities and evaluations
   • Maintaining rapport with clinical affiliates for collaboration between the affiliate and the program, includes visiting clinic sites regularly
2. Assume responsibility for instruction in programmatic and core courses assigned each semester;
   • use technology to enhance the didactic and clinic curriculum
   • maintain appropriate records of student activity and evaluation
3. Supervise, evaluate and advise students in clinical progress
4. Participate in the accreditation process under the guidance of the program director
5. Participate in the tri-mission (scholarly activity, service and teaching) of the University of Oklahoma as deemed appropriate with your role as a faculty member
6. Participate in program, department, and college functions and committees
7. Performs other duties as defined by Program Director and/or Department Chair

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT Certification in radiography
• Minimum 2-years clinical experience in radiography
• Minimum 1-year experience instructing students in a JRCERT accredited radiography program (clinic or classroom)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University and willing to obtain a Master’s degree within 3-years of hire
• Experience in sectional imaging such as CT and/or MR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Earned Master’s or PhD degree
• Additional advanced ARRT certifications with emphasis in CT and MR
• Experience in use of instructional technology
• Strong organizational skills
