Job DescriptionPostdoctoral position is available immediately at Stephenson Cancer Center, University of Oklahoma Health Science Center for a federally funded project to study biology of breast cancer metastasis. Highly motivated individual with a solid background and skills in cancer biology, tumor microenvironment, immunology, molecular biology, mouse model of cancer, and biochemistry is encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. degree. Required expertise includes the following skills, but not limited to: cell culture, molecular and cell biology techniques, mouse handling, protein evaluation (immunoblotting and histology), confocal microscopy, quantitative image analysis, mouse model of cancer and flow cytometry.
Successful appointee will be supervised by PI at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. The ideal candidate should be able to take a lead role on a project and report to the PI. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be citizens or noncitizen nationals who are currently legally authorized to work and reside in the United States.
The Stephenson Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Cancer Center located on a large OUHSC research campus in Oklahoma City.
