Job DescriptionThe Ophthalmic Genetic Laboratory at the Department of Ophthalmology, King Saud University invites applications for a faculty level position (Assistant, Associate or Professor) in the field of genetics of human ocular diseases. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. We are particularly seeking a highly motivated scientist working on basic and translational aspects of complex human diseases, preferably in field of ophthalmic diseases with a focus on glaucoma. Scientists with strong background in molecular biology and experience in genome-wide studies using high throughput genomic platforms with a record of achievement and commitment to excellence are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of various biological gene databases and related analyses tools would be an advantage. The Department offers a highly collaborative research environment and exceptional technical resources with state-of-the-art research facilities.
