Job Description

A postdoctoral position is available at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) to study epigenetic regulation of chromatin silencing that links to differentiation and degeneration. We combine innovative cell and mouse models as well as high throughput genomics and proteomics approaches to understand fundamental mechanisms regulating genome stability in development, carcinogenesis, and neurodegeneration. The successful candidate is expected to have a PhD degree in a discipline related to Cell Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Mammalian Genetics or Neurosciences.

USU is located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, on the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center campus across the street from the National Institutes of Health.
